Cancellations & Refund Policy

Tour cancellation: Please note that any tour may be cancelled due to inclement weather, Nature Reserve closures, tour guide illness, or any other reason. If you are travelling from afar, it is best to allow a few days in the Marshes for contingency. Tours still run when it’s cold, hot or windy, so you will need to dress appropriately (more information will be provided upon booking).

Refund policy:

If we (Macquarie Marshes Kayak Tours) need to cancel a tour, you will be given a full refund minus booking fees.

If you need to cancel a booking:

Cancellations with more than 72 hours’ notice before your tour start time will be given a refund but may incur a 10% cancellation fee, plus booking and transaction fees. These cancellations can also be rescheduled to another tour date if one is available. Macquarie Marshes Kayak Tours will not transfer tours to the next years season.

Cancellations between 24 and 72 hours before departure are eligible for a 50% refund minus booking and transaction fees. These cancellations can also be rescheduled to another tour date if one is available. Macquarie Marshes Kayak Tours will not transfer tours to the next years season.

No refunds or fee transfers will be issued with less than 24 hours notice of the tour departing.
